Cousin’s Puberty Ceremony
The Saree Ceremony is a cherished Hindu tradition marking the transition of young girls into adulthood, celebrating their first period. This ceremony welcomes them into womanhood with joy and reverence. During this rite of passage, the girl wears a saree for the very first time, symbolizing her maturity and the traditional attire of Hindu women. This summer we celebrated my cousin’s beautiful journey into adulthood with this special invitation.
